Brothers and sisters fighting under the banner of Conlutas!

My name is Teruoka, a member of executive committee of Doro Chiba (National Railway Motive Power Union of Chiba). We sincerely thank you for inviting us to this historic convention.

It was at the International Workers Conference held in San Francisco in July 2009 where we met the comrade of Conlutas for the first time. And in November 2009, we invited the comrade of Conlutas to our National Rally and International Workers Conference in Tokyo to develop international solidarity of militant labor movements.

Next June 2010, from 3rd to 6th, two important congresses of militant federations will take place in Brazil.

The Conlutas (Coordenação Nacional de Lutas) will hold its II Congress in June 3rd and 4th 2010. Founded in 2004, the Conlutas is a Unions’ and People’s Federation which gathers around 400 organizations (unions, opposition caucuses, people’s & students’ organizations and women, black, LGBT groups).
